How can directory browsing be disabled on a web hosting service?

If you don’t want people being able to browse directories when there is no index page in place, you can easily disable directory browsing via cPanel.
- Login to cPanel.
- Click the Index Manager icon.
- Select the directory that you wish to disable directory browsing on.
- Select No Index.
- Save the adjustment.
The directory browsing feature will now be disabled on the selected directory.
