Domain name recovery from a reseller

As Synergy Wholesale is a business purely servicing wholesale clients, we have no direct retail systems. We have a responsibility to the domain name owners and the registrants of the domain names, so we can provide assistance where a reseller of our services is no longer contactable.

You will be required to try every avenue possible to contact your reseller. If you find you are still unable to reach them, please follow the steps outlined below to recover your domain name.

.au Domain Names

• Write an official request, on company letterhead (matching the Registrant ABN or ACN set on the domain name), stating that you are an authorised person acting on behalf of the Registrant (being the company, sole trader, etc) and that you wish to take direct management control of the domain.
• Provide an ATO/ASIC document showing the ABN or ACN based on the domain name registrant information.
• Provide photo identification of a Director relating to the Registrant entity (this can either be a Driver’s Licence or a Passport).
• Complete contact details for yourself (First name, surname, physical and postal address, suburb, state, country, postcode, telephone phone, fax number and an email address). This information will be used to update the Contact information on the domain name.

All other domains

• Write an official request, on company letterhead (matching the Registrant contact information that is set on the domain name if applicable), stating that you are an authorised person and that you wish to take direct management control of the domain.
• Proof of purchase (such as tax invoice or receipt) showing the domain registration or transfer order with the reseller.
• Statutory declaration that declares the information provided in the letter is valid, correct and true.
• Complete contact details for yourself (First name, surname, physical and postal address, suburb, state, country, postcode, telephone phone, fax number and an email address). This information will be used to update the Contact information on the domain name.

When you have collected the above documentation please submit the documentation via our Domain Name Recovery Page. Our Recovery team will be in contact within 48 hours to advise you of the status of your domain recovery request.

Please be aware we can not act as a mediator in the event of a dispute between a reseller and their client.
