Synergy Wholesale

How do internal transfers work?

Sometimes a domain name you want to transfer is be registered with us, but under another Synergy Wholesale Partner's account. The transfer submissions process is the same, as long as you know the EPP Code for the domain name. You can still submit the transfer, like you would any other. However, there are a few differences:
  1. Domain renewals never occur when the domain name is transferred between partners
  2. The domain name transfer is much faster (almost instant) because it's simply being moved between accounts
  3. We usually consider this a "change of account" rather than a domain transfer. Because the domain isn't coming from another domain registrar
If you have any further questions about this process, feel free to reach out to us.
