There are no minimum obligations for you to retain your Synergy Wholesale partner account and no set periods of contracts that may require you to have a minimum duration on your active services.
All of Synergy Wholesale's hosting services are not locked-in.
This means that you can request a cancellation of your reoccurring service at any time during your billing period, and our system will calculate the pre-paid time remaining on your service and credit it back to you.
This includes web hosting and email hosting. Domain names and SSL certificates are registered via a third party and are not serviced as a “plan”, therefore these products cannot be cancelled. Read more about why we cannot ‘cancel’ domain names here, or SSL Certificates here.
The Synergy Wholesale Management System is the gateway to managing all of your wholesale services. With the Synergy Wholesale Management System, you can manage all of your services within one location.
(Please note that a Change of Registrant comes at a cost to the value of how many years you wish to hold the registration for. Changing the registrant will reset the domain’s license period.
What we need
For us to complete a migration of email data over to our platform, we'll need the following from you:
The IP Address or Hostname of the email server that you are migrating away from
The usernames and passwords for each of the accounts you want to migrate
There are also some special considerations, such as:
We must be able to connect to the old email service via IMAP
If you're wanting emails moved from Gmail or Google Workspace, you must ensure that you have:
Enabled IMAP Access
Allow less secure apps
Submitting the request
We'll just need this information submitted to us in an eTicket. Here are the steps:
Login to your Synergy Wholesale account
Click on Support Centre top the left of the page
Click on New Request
Fill out the form like so:
Subject: This can really be whatever you like, but "Migration Request" is suggested
Department: Select Support from the drop-down menu
Service: Input the service you want to migrate to
Description of Query: Please provide the details requested under What we need above
Click Submit New Request
We have a simple and easy to use Permissions Fixer tool available for cPanel web hosting services. If you'd like to use the tool, here are the steps you need to take:
Login to your Synergy Wholesale account
Click on Hosting
Click on Manage
Click on the service you want to fix file/folder permissions for
Click Configure
Click Permissions Fixer
Click Fix Permissions
Before proceeding
Make sure you also update any website hosted on the service to work with the new domain name
Ensure that the domain name you are changing the primary domain to, is not already setup as an Addon Domain or Alias
Changing the primary domain name
Login to your Synergy Wholesale account
Click on Hosting
Click on Manage
Click on the service you want to change the primary domain for
Click on Maintenance
Click Change Primary Domain
Input the new domain name
Click Change Primary Domain
