Configuring a white-label email address to send system templates

The Synergy Wholesale Management System sends out numerous editable templates to the services set contact with key information related to active services. These include domain expiry notifications, hosting warnings and other service updates/reminders.

The default address for these emails is: noreply@synergywholesale.com

If you would like to utilise Synergy Wholesale’s white-label features, you can send these instead using a custom white-label domain and address. To enable this, log in and navigate to the dropdown menu at the top right of the screen, clicking Account Options. Scroll down to enter your support contact information. This information is used for template autofill details, Partner lookup information, and the white-label email sending if configured to do so.

Important: If any record fails to validate or the domain is not active the system will default to ‘noreply@synergywholesale.com’ for all notifications until the sending address issues are resolved or the address is updated to a new active domain configured with the SPF and new Verification and DKIM records (if DKIM Signing is enabled).

Setting up the necessary DNS records

Once you’ve saved your support contact information navigate to Account options > Configurations here you’ll find the necessary DNS records to place onto your support contact email address. DNS propagation can take several hours, but is often a lot faster.

1. Login to the Synergy Wholesale Management System

2. Click ‘Account settings‘ at the top right dropdown

3. Scroll down to ‘Support Contact Information’

4. Update this address to your preferred sending contact if necessary

5. Switch to the ‘Configurations’ tab towards the top of the screen

6. Scroll down to ‘SPF Record Information’, ‘Domain Verification Record Information’ and ‘DKIM Record Information’

7. Place all of these records (if enabling DKIM Signing otherwise just the SPF and Verification records will suffice) onto the domain of your chosen sending address and allow time for propagation.

8. You’re done! Notifications and emails sent on your behalf through the Synergy Wholesale Management System will come from the configured address as long as it remains active and valid.

Unverified domains put senders and recipients at risk of spam, spoofing, and phishing. Verifying the domain will help protect you and your customers from these threats.
