Upgrading from an old version of the Hosting module
If upgrading from an older version of Synergy Wholesale’s Hosting Module (the module’s folder name will be “synergyWholesaleHosting”), you are required to change the module settings for existing products.
First, follow the Hosting module installation instructions here. Once installed, navigate to the following in WHMCS:
Setup >> Products/Services >> Products/Services
Select “Edit”
on the right side of any product currently setup that is processing orders through the legacy Synergy Wholesale WHMCS SSL module.
Under the Module Settings tab ensure that the Module Name dropdown is set to “Synergywholesale_Hosting” and the API key and Reseller ID are still correct. If you require assistance with retrieving your API key and Reseller ID please see: https://synergywholesale.com/faq/api-documentation/
Remember to repeat this process for each product you have configured to use the legacy Synergy Wholesale WHMCS Hosting module.
