If you're requesting that our technical support team complete a migration of your email data from Google Workspace to a Synergy Wholesale service, there are some things you need to do for the migration process to be successful. What is ActiveSync? ActiveSync is a live synchronisation feature currently available on Dedicated Email Hosting products only, which allows you to receive email notifications at the exact moment your messages hit the server.
What we need For us to complete a migration of email data over to our platform, we'll need the following from you: The IP Address or Hostname of the email server that you are migrating away from The usernames and passwords for each of the accounts you want to migrate There are also some special considerations, such as: We must be able to connect to the old email service via IMAP If you're wanting emails moved from Gmail or Google Workspace, you must ensure that you have: Enabled IMAP Access Allow less secure apps Submitting the request We'll just need this information submitted to us in an eTicket. Here are the steps: Login to your Synergy Wholesale account Click on Support Centre top the left of the page Click on New Request Fill out the form like so: Subject: This can really be whatever you like, but "Migration Request" is suggested Department: Select Support from the drop-down menu Service: Input the service you want to migrate to Description of Query: Please provide the details requested under What we need above Click Submit New Request
Resetting via Synergy Wholesale Management System Login to Synergy Wholesale Management System Navigate to Email Hosting > Manage Click Manage next to the domain containing the email address you need to reset the password for Click Manage next to the mailbox you want to reset the password for Click Update Mailbox Details Input and confirm the new password into the Change Password field, and then input it again in the Confirm Password field Alternatively, you opt to generate a random password in the same section Click Update Details Reset password for cPanel email mailboxes Please follow through to the guide here. If you need to obtain email headers from Axigen through the webmail interface at Login to https://ax.email. You can do so by clicking the “Source” button at the bottom of the message.
Our email hosting platform allows you to create a mailbox that is linked to your domain name. To be able to purchase/create a mailbox, you will first need to create the plan you wish to allocate to the mailbox. As a Synergy Wholesale partner, you can manage your dedicated email hosting services at an overall domain level or on an individual mailbox basis. Essentially, this means that each mailbox can be on a different tier of plan, giving you more control and flexibility over your addresses.
Please note: These instructions are for Dedicated Email Hosting services only. If you have a cPanel service your MX and SPF records should already be configured for you.
DKIM is already enabled on any dedicated email hosting service powered by our Axigen platform, however, you will need to add a DKIM record to your DNS records so DKIM can function correctly. DKIM records are unique to each domain name, you can locate the DKIM record via the Synergy Wholesale Management System, once located you’ll need to add to your DNS zone via the below steps: Login to the Synergy Wholesale Management System Navigate to Email Hosting >> Manage from the menu located to the left-hand side of the management system.
If you or your clients would like to create an email signature when sending mail, our dedicated email platform powered by Axigen allows you to easily add a signature via the Axigen webmail interface. Please keep in mind that the signature will only be used when you/your client send emails from with the Axigen webmail interface.
An alias allows you to set an address that will direct all mail to your primary inbox. Key Points: You do not have to set up a hosting service for an alias As there is no physical inbox for an alias, you cannot send emails out from the address Here are the steps for how to set up an alias: Log in to your Synergy Wholesale account.
To be able to purchase an email hosting service/account, you will first need to create the plan you wish to allocate to the service/account. This is done via the Synergy Wholesale Management System. Our slider-driven tool allows you to easily create completely custom email hosting plans that are tailored to meet the needs of you and your clients.
There are no minimum obligations for you to retain your Synergy Wholesale partner account and no set periods of contracts that may require you to have a minimum duration on your active services. All of Synergy Wholesale's hosting services are not locked-in.
