Managing mailbox settings

As a Synergy Wholesale partner, you can manage your dedicated email hosting services at an overall domain level or on an individual mailbox basis. Essentially, this means that each mailbox can be on a different tier of plan, giving you more control and flexibility over your addresses.

Accessing the Domain Level Settings

The Domain Level Settings can be accessed through the Synergy Wholesale Management System:

1. Click on the Email Hosting option on the left-hand side of your account > Email from the menu below
2. Hit the Manage button for the domain name you wish to manage, this will show you the below tabs:

• Mailboxes – The Mailboxes tab will list all of your mailboxes for the selected domain name, followed by the current status,  disk usage and ActiveSync status of each mailbox.  This tab will also allow you to purchase/add additional mailboxes instantly.
• Service Details – The Service Details tab will allow you to view the server details, port numbers, MX and SPF records for the selected domain. (There is also an option to send the details to an email address of your choice)
• Aliases – The Aliases tab will allow you to view and manage a list of email aliases for that particular domain name. Email Aliases are managed on a per-domain basis. An email alias is a virtual email address that forwards to an alternate email address. You can create up to 50 email aliases per domain name.
• Add Mailbox – The Add Mailbox tab will allow you easily create new email accounts (addresses) for this domain name.

Accessing the Mailbox Settings

The Mailbox settings can be accessed through the Synergy Wholesale Management System:

1. Click on the Email Hosting option on the left-hand side of your account > Email from the menu below
2. Hit the Manage button for the domain name you wish to manage, this will automatically take you to the Mailboxes tab mentioned earlier in this article which will list all of your mailboxes for the selected domain name
3.  Clicking the drop-down arrow located on the right-hand side of your mailbox, you will see a collapse of mailbox management options allowing you to easily logic to the select mailbox, update mailbox details and change plans with no downtime involved.
