Why Synergy Wholesale is listed in my WHOIS lookup
You might be wondering why you're seeing Synergy Wholesale listed in a WHOIS lookup you've performed on a domain name. This is because we're a domain name wholesale provider, we have many Partners that register domains through us.
If you're wanting to find out which Partner a domain name has been registered though, you can use out Partner Lookup Tool. If you cannot contact the Partner for some reason, you can try our Domain Recovery Tool.
(Please note that a Change of Registrant comes at a cost to the value of how many years you wish to hold the registration for. Changing the registrant will reset the domain’s license period.
Before proceeding
Make sure you also update any website hosted on the service to work with the new domain name
Ensure that the domain name you are changing the primary domain to, is not already setup as an Addon Domain or Alias
Changing the primary domain name
Login to your Synergy Wholesale account
Click on Hosting
Click on Manage
Click on the service you want to change the primary domain for
Click on Maintenance
Click Change Primary Domain
Input the new domain name
Click Change Primary Domain
Registration
New .au domain names can be registered for a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 5 years. A domain's initial registration period cannot exceed 5 years (1,825 days).
Sometimes. Different domain extensions are managed by different registries, and depending on how that registry processes transfers, you may need to renew the domain name as part of the transfer - others allow domain names to be transferred at no cost (retaining the original expiry period without a renewal).
There are no minimum obligations for you to retain your Synergy Wholesale partner account and no set periods of contracts that may require you to have a minimum duration on your active services. All of Synergy Wholesale's hosting services are not locked-in.
