Four checks to help keep you safe from phishing attempts. Check the email came from an email address ending with @synergywholesale.com, for example - sales@synergywholesale.com.- Check that the URL is correct (this can often be done by hovering over the link without clicking it).

If you have been redirected here by clicking a login link from an email claiming to be Synergy Wholesale. You have received a phishing email.

On 26/09/2023 we have decided to begin retiring our WHMCS Availability Checker functionality, read more below to see if this will affect you, and what actions you may need to take. When will this happen?

The Synergy Wholesale Management System now contains a full list of registered .au domain licenses currently registered using invalid registrant data. In order to hold a .au domain license, policy states that registrants of a .au domain name license must remain eligible to hold the license - 2019-01 - .au Domain Administration Rules: Licensing Policy, Section 2.14.  Whilst registrants may have been eligible to register their domain license at the time of registration; they risk not being able to renew their domain if their registrant details become invalid.

The Individual Registrant Privacy Option (IRPO) is available for individuals who are not in significant trade. Choosing to enable IRPO withholds the telephone number and contact address from display in a WHOIS search.

We are pleased to announce that today we have launched our brand spanking new Synergy Wholesale Service Status page online at http://status.synergywholesale.com. Our team monitors our network, servers and system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and when an event has been lasting longer than 15 minutes it will be listed on the Service Status page.

We have recently become aware of a phishing scam currently targeting many domain name registrants which fraudulently advises them that their domain name registration has been ‘suspended’. In an attempt to bait users to click and subsequently download a malware file, the fraudulent email claims that the domain name has been suspended by Synergy Wholesale because the registrant has failed to respond to previous email and telephone notices to "...address the complaints".

As part of the ICANN 2013 RAA, Synergy Wholesale is required to verify the Registrant contact in the following instances; after a domain name registration, at the time of a domain name transfer and, at the time of an update to the Registrant contact This is designed to lead to a higher accuracy level of WHOIS data and will be done by an automatic process that sends the Registrant contact a verification email (similar to a transfer confirmation email) that needs to be 'clicked' within a specific time period, or the domain will be placed in a ClientHold status (and any DNS resolution will be suspended). We will be enabling this functionality on Friday, 30 May 2014 for ALL new registrations, transfers and contact updates.

We're pleased to announce that Synergy Wholesale resellers now have access to .io domain names to resell to their customers. The extension .io is the ccTLD for the British Indian Ocean Territory and there are no special requirements or restrictions on registering a .io domain name.
